Contracts Done. One to Go

Well, that's a second exam done. Now on to Civ Pro...

It actually went fairly well. One thing about taking mock exams is that you're inevitably taking a test for a similar course, but it's not the one your professor actually taught. So long as the prof writes the exam to the course, you'll always do a little worse on the mock than you do on the real thing.

At least, that's my take on it now.

Comments

Tony, You forgot to shut off the contracts clock.
Didn't your prof. have any old exams from his or her own class? If not, like you said, the other prof.'s exam will surely be harded as it probably covers (1) material that you have never seen before or (2) has that prof.'s unique take of the materials. Often times, I've found prof.'s will use the exact same questions (or very similar questions) on their exams. When this happens, I just pull out the model answer (all my finals have been open book) and start paraphrasing. The worst part is that you know everyone else is doing the same thing. But, in my opinion, it's better to stick with what works than to go out on a limb and take a chance your professor won't agree with your understanding.
Congrats. One more to go. I think you guys are on the same schedule as we are... Civ Pro on Friday? Good luck.
